to Okeechobee where it dead-ends.
- Make a left to go west on I-70 past Sebring to Arcadia. About ½ through
town, look for I-17.
- Go north about 7 miles to Brownville Rd. then
go west about 2 miles.
- The park is on
the left with a BIG sign just before a bridge that goes over the Peace River!
There are camp sites, picnic table,
bathrooms with showers (it is well water so doesn’t smell great) but no drinking
water.
There is a concrete ramp for canoes, etc. and paths to other accesses to
the river.
It is still quite low and cool but these next two months are the BEST
times!
Call Michelle for other info or directions, etc. at 561/644-2323.
Hope
